For sure one of the world's most beautiful and vibrant cities,   Rio de Janeiro unique setting, withdramatic mountains and beaches at its very center, sets it apart from everything else. There is so much to see in Rio de Janeiro and our guided tours will definitely unveil some of Rio’s best treasures:  beautiful beaches, world-famous icons such as the Sugar Loaf and the Christ statue.

Half Day Sugar Loaf Mountain, Group Tour
From the pick-up point we will drive along Ipanema and Copacabana Beach to Downtown. We will pass along Cinelandia and some streets in the busy city center, with a quick stop at Rio Cathedral. From there, we will head to Urca. The 1400-meter (4,600 ft) journey to the summit is made in two stages, first to Morro da Urca (220 mt/720 ft), where there is a theater, restaurants and shops, and then on to the top of the Pao de Acucar itself (396 mt/1,300 ft). The cable cars have glass walls and the views from the top are as glorious as you could wish. Facing inland, you can see right over the city, from Centro and the Santos Dumont Airport all the way through Flamengo and Botafogo. To the left, you will see the sweep of Copacabana and on into Ipanema, while back from the coast the mountains around which Rio was built rise to the Tijuca National Park.
Half Day Corcovado, Group Tour
From the pick-up point, we will drive to Cosme Velho, where we will board the charming trainforthe ride through Tijuca Forest up to the Corcovado Mountain. Upon arrival at the top we will have mechanized access, with panoramic elevators and escalators that will take us to the foot of the statute (located at 2.300ft above sea level). There, passengers will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro and discover why it is called the "Marvelous City". The statue of Christ the Redeemer has recently been acclaimed one of the new seven world wonders.
Rio de Janeiro Tours: Tropical Islands Full Day Tropical Island with Lunch, Group Tour

We will begin with a ride along the Rio-Santos Highway, with its sinewy contour that runs between the Atlantic Forest covered mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, to the city of Itacuruça, located 96 km (60 mi) from Rio de Janeiro. In Itacuruça we will board our schooner and begin our trip along the calm waters, protected from the open sea by a sandbar, forming the Sepetiba Bay, home to dozens of islands which are a true tropical paradise, with its inlets, beaches, restingas and flagstones covered with a dense vegetation. We will tour the bay's main islands with a stop for lunch, swimming and snorkeling.

Half Day Petropolis Imperial City, Group Tour
Petr ópolis, the former Imperial City, located in Serra dos Orgãos, is approximately one hour drive from Rio de Janeiro. There, we stop at the Imperial Museum, an ancient summer palace of the imperial family during the 19th century, where we can find the scepter and the crown of Emperor Don Pedro II, historical documents, jewelry and works of art belonging to the imperial family. During our stay in Petrópolis we also visit the Crystal Palace and the São Pedro de Alcântara Neo Gothic Cathedral. Duration: 6 hours.
Full Day Sugar Loaf, Corcovado, City Center with Lunch, Group Tour

Rio de Janeiro Tour - Christ Statue from AboveOn the way back we will drive along Rodrigo deFreitas Lagoonto Ipanema, where we will have adelicious lunch. Then, we will head to the second part of the tour starting with a visit to the city center, with a quick stop at the city's cathedral. From there we will make our way towards another Rio postcard: the Sugar Loaf Mountain. Rising up from a small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, the tour is done in two steps by panoramic cable-cars. The first part takes us to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 meters (705 feet) above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and its islands. From Urca Hill, we will continue on another cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level, offering a 360-degree view of the city, from Botafogo to Copacabana Beaches, the Corcovado and downtown Rio.

We will get to see the statue of the Christ, up, close and personal. Tijuca Forest to CorcovadoMountain where the statue sits. Quick stops at Dona Marta Belvedere and at the Corcovado mountain to admire breathtaking views of the city. Then Paineiras Road until Cascatinha Falls, the core of the forest. Back to the city through Estrada das Canoas, crossing big part of Rio through the mountains, ending up in Pepino Beach. Back to Leblon, Ipanema, Leblon for drop-offs. Visit to Christ is included with this tour.
Half Day Jeep Tour to Tijuca Forest, Group Tour
This tour will take us deep into the remaining of the Tijuca Atlantic Forest. We will make some stops to appreciate Rio from up above: Vista Chinesa, then the Emperor's table, Dona Marta Belvedere and at the Corcovado mountain. From Paineras Road, we will embark on a train up to Cascatinha Falls, the forest core. back through the Estrada das Canoas, ending up in Pepino Beach. Then back to your hotel along Niemeyer Way until Leme for drop-offs. This tour doesn't actually take you to the steps of the statue of the Christ, even though it sits atop the Corcovado mountain.
Rio de Janeiro Tour - Helicopter Tour.
Half Day Jeep Tour to Rocinha Favela, Group Tour
This tour will take us deep into Rocinha, South America's largest slum with 150 thousandinhabitants. Rocinha's way of life will be unveiled to us as we visit local homes, day nurseries and schools. We walk through the small streets, visit local shops, including a free market, offering refreshments and handcraft from the Northeastern region of Brazil at Praca Boiadeiro. After the visit to Rocinha we will head back to the hotels, admiring the stunning views offered by the scenic Niemeyer Road. Important: we recommend a donation while visiting the day nurseries and schools at Rocinha. This donation money or goods - is given directly to the members of the community on spot.
