The Amazonat Jungle Resort is located 160 kilometers (100 miles) east of Manaus, the capital of the State of Amazonas, in northern Brazil. The 5000-hectare (12,355 acre) private reserve is in a privileged location surrounded by a diversity of unspoiled ecosystems and abundant wildlife. The Amazonat Jungle Resort offers an exhilarating vacation, exposing guests to the natural wonders of the area, as well as providing the relaxation and sunbathing opportunities of a beach holiday. Guest can choose from a diversity of packages, ranging in length and focus. Activities include jungle treks in search of flora and fauna, river trips, visits to local artisans and indigenous villages, bird watching, and dolphin and alligator spotting. All tours are accompanied by expert guides, excited to share their knowledge with visitors. When not partaking in tour activities, guests can relax at Amazonat’s pool or at the white-sand lake beach. There are numerous trails for exploring the grounds, as well as an orchid garden and orchard. For further relaxation, guests can partake in a massage or entertain themselves at the game house and internet café. The restaurant serves local and international cuisine, including many vegetarian options. All ingredients are supplied locally, with many coming from Amazonat’s own orchard and vegetable gardens.
